Up to 1.7 percent of the world population are born with intersex traits. Fewer than 1% of the worldwide population are transgender. More than 210,000,000 people belong to the third gender… Trans and intersex people have been born in different cultures for centuries. And very few of these cultures gave the third gender the right to life. Some third-gender people were killed, others were forced to deny their identities. Their voices went unheard by past and present generations. This film endeavors to amplify their voices and render them in contemporary discourse.
