Vigilant Eye tells the story of a young woman who lost an eye in the 2022 protests in Iran due to gunfire from government forces. Three years later, she still refuses to wear a prosthetic. The documentary captures her difficult choice: to wear a prosthetic and return to the face she once had, or live with her wound that has made her a political symbol.
